Harbours

Sri Lanka has 24 harbours which are currently operating. Most of these are fully equipped with slip ways, water, electricity, fuel, auction halls, cold rooms, ice plants and all the necessary facilities needed for commercial purposes.to enhance the Sri Lankan fisheries sector government has proposed another few fishery harbours other than the existing fishery harbours.
